Have you ever just wished you could have a clear sign that you're on the right path? That everything will be ok? "Should I really do this?" "Am I going in the right direction?" "Am I making the best choice for me?" I'm sure some of these are starting to sound oddly familiar.
Well, it's time to stop wishing and start asking!
I do this all. the. time. And let me tell ya, it's super fun and fulfilling because my questions always get answered and it's just so nice to know that the Universe is on your side. Ya know?
A little wink from the Universe can be extremely comforting in these moments of uncertainty. It's a really beautiful way to experience guidance. And right now you're gonna learn how!
How to Ask the Universe for a Sign
So here's how you do it. Ask the Universe for it to send you a clear or obvious sign within a specific time frame.
For example you can say something like, "Ok Universe, send me a clear sign within the next 24 hours if I'm supposed to go through with this decision," or whatever you want to ask about.
The important part is to have a simple "Yes" or "No" question that you want to be answered. You always want to ask for clear direction.
You will know the answer to your question is "Yes" if you see the sign within the time frame that you pick or you'll know that the answer is "No" if you don't see your sign by then.
And if it is "No" don't worry. That usually just means the Universe is trying to tell you to redirect.
Sometimes the sign will come in the form of a song on the radio, a special number, a phone call, a book passage, or even a bumper sticker! It could literally be anything so you have to pay attention and feel it out. When you see it, you'll usually know right away because it will be obvious, like you asked for it to be.
BUT If you feel like you might accidentally write your sign off coincidence it can be helpful for you to specify exactly what you want your sign to be. Pick something specific that you wouldn't normally see every day, so that when you do see it, you know it's the one!
For example you can say, "Ok Universe, if I'm supposed to do this, send me a blue butterfly in the next 48 hours." You might see someone's blue butterfly tramp stamp tattoo when they sit down at a bar that night. Or maybe you'll be shopping with a friend the next day and they will randomly buy you a necklace with a blue butterfly on it! It could come to you in any number of awesome ways, so be on the lookout!

Funny Success Stories
Here are a few examples of how this has worked out for other people so you can get an idea of how random and wonderful it can be!
A friend decided to see Santa as his sign since it was summertime and it would be obvious that this was the sign and not just something you could see anywhere. About five minutes after deciding this, he had the random urge to text a friend that he hadn't spoken with in a long time. And THEN guess what the friend replied with... A Santa!
Another person I know once jokingly stated, "Ok Universe, If I'm supposed to go in X direction with my life, send me some green glass." They knew that green glass would be random and specific enough. And sure enough, they were right, because when they went to their meeting that day they looked up only to find none other than a shelf full of vases made out of green glass!
When I do this, I usually like to leave my sign up to Universe because I'm very intuitive and I can easily identify what my sign is when it happens. Also, this makes it a little more fun for me because I never know exactly what the Universe is gonna send my way. I always just ask for "something obvious".
One time I was feeling like I wanted to break up with the guy that I was with, but I was still a little unsure. So I asked for a sign. "Universe, help a girl out here. What should I do?" I kid you not, no more than five seconds later, the song "Problem" by Ariana Grande started playing on the radio. Do you KNOW the lyrics to this song?! "I got one less problem without ya... I got one less problem without ya... I got one less, one less problem" Safe to say, my problem was solved.
As you can see, this can be a super fun and special way to interact with the Universe! I'm sure it will be a great tool for you to have in your spiritual toolbox and I highly encourage you to use is as often as you need.
