How to Make the Best Decisions Every Time in Life
Decision making can be hard. I mean how many times have you struggled to come to a conclusion when it was something important like what to do with the rest of your life!? Or even something as simple as what to eat for lunch?!
Well, today I'd like to share with you a foolproof way to make all your decisions super easy from now on, from small to big, insignificant to monumental.
This question will not only help you make any decision with confidence (no matter how trivial or significant) it will also help you to get to know yourself better AND it will also point you in the direction of your highest good.
How's that for a life hack?
"What feels better?"
The name of the game is simply to ask yourself "What feels better?". Whenever you need to make a decision about something ask yourself "What feels better?" and then you just follow what feels better! Pretty simple, right?
Here are some examples to show you how it works in action.
When you go to eat a snack you can ask yourself, "What feels better? This orange or this apple?" then you go with your first instinct and you've chosen a snack! (When you follow your intuition in this way your body will naturally pick the food that it needs the nutrient of most in that moment!)
When you're not sure whether or not to stay in a relationship you can ask yourself, "What feels better? To stay... or to go?"
When you have no idea what to do on a Friday night you can ask yourself, "What feels better? To stay in and watch a movie or to go out with my friends?"
The more you start to follow your preferences, the more in touch you will be yourself. Not only are you learning more about yourself every time you ask this question, but when you take action on the answer, you are honoring yourself and staying true to who you are.
If you do this every time you make a decision for the next month you will be amazed by how much better you feel and how much more clarity you have! Every time you go with what feels better you are following the path of least resistance. And the path of least resistance always will take you to exactly where you will be happiest in life.
So next time you're in a pickle and wondering what to do, you can wonder no more and simply ask yourself, "What feels better?"
